"trying to find something,
someone
who can handle me.

of strange sea creatures
that can glow in the dark."

Delighted to have this piece appearing inside the NEW December Issue 107 of Red Fez, HERE - https://www.redfez.net/poetry/deaths-loch-ness-in-my-locket-2621

NEW in Rag Queen Periodical - Four of My Poems!

"...He grows increasingly drunk and angry.
He screams at the TV and sticks up for Hitler.
He yells at your twenty pound dog. You carry the shaking
pup upstairs and let the man keep screaming out hostility.
At least he's not screaming at you.

You go back down for some water or to fix yourself
another vodka & coke, to tone your nerves and convince yourself
this is all normal. It isn't. It's all your fault.
He comes into the kitchen and glares at you,
raises his hand above your head like he's threatening
to punch you in the face. He punches
the cupboard above your head, breaks another hole."

from the poem "Your Fault", one of four of my poems appearing within Rag Queen Periodical, preceded by a lovely cicada.
Thank you very much to the Rag Queen team.

NEW in The Rising Phoenix Review - Trap

"I don’t want to be a body stared at

and told what my body does or doesn’t deserve."

NEW in FLAPPERHOUSE #13 and NEW in Concrete Meat Press Recommends

"NOT PART OF A PRIZE
fighting game.
Not part of a dog
fighting blood bath

part of what it is that keeps
the world apart from itself."
from the collaborative poem "Never Be Stuck" by j/j hastain and Juliet Cook, that was published in FLAPPERHOUSE #13 and now appears on the FLAPPERHOUSE website HERE:

NEW in The Rising Phoenix Review - "This Body is a Blooming Corpse Flower"

"My womb is just a crawlspace
filled with little fake dick
and harry discharge instructions.
I walk around in circles, hissing
backwards soprano pick up lines
and watch the blood drip down
out of my lips, flooding another room
into a corpse vat. The shape of my mouth
was contorted, he used to tell me."
from my poem, "This Body is a Blooming Corpse Flower", now up at The Rising Phoenix Review

NEW in Riot Felice - FIVE of my poems!!!!!

"When my computer crashed, I thought I had lost so many details of myself
or at least seven years worth of me
stored on the computer he had bought me
and let me keep when our relationship died.
When my hard drive was restored, I found out I hadn’t lost
his rampant collection of hardcore porn videos
including woman after woman sucking dog dick."

(from my poem "Abuse")

NEW Winter 2017 Edition of Menacing Hedge, including three of my poems!

Very darkly deliciously delighted and excited to have three of my poems included within the NEW Winter 2017 Edition of Menacing Hedge!
The fabulous cover art for this issue was created by Susan Yount.
Thank you for the creative powers of Kelly Boyker Guillemette, Gio Guillemette, Amanda Gowin, Kiara McMorris, and Menacing Hedge.

I was black circles
and dark painted nails.
I kept my rough drafts concealed,
even though they outnumbered the polished lines.
I secretly admired her raw exposures,
her giggling glimmers, her fluttering fingers,
the pages of works in progress,
ripped out fast, splayed all over the room.

(a small sampling from my poem, "Pumpkin Gut Grave")

NEW in Rogue Agent Issue 22 (Happy New Year!)

"My long letters ruin friendships.
It doesn't matter whether they're overly positive
or overly negative or a juxtaposition of both."
from my poem "IT DOESN'T MATTER", in the new Issue 22 of Rogue Agent.
Happy to start the New Year by having a poem published, surrounded by other poems, inside the new Issue 22 of Rogue Agent.
