The first one (at 1/6/2010) is before surgery; with a 99% block of my carotid artery where blood was moving out of where it should be. If that blockage would have gone on for another hour or less, I'd be dead.
The second one (1/8/2010) is several days after surgery, during which a platinum mesh stint was added to that area.
